Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist supports the Manufacturing Engineering team in creating and managing product codifications, structuring Bills of Materials (BoM), and defining production routings within company systems.

This position is ideal for recent graduates or young professionals interested in growing within a technical-industrial field and deepening their understanding of production processes and data management in a structured manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of product codifications in line with company standards.
  • Collaborating on the structuring and updating of Bills of Materials (BoMs) to ensure alignment with drawings and specifications.
  • Assisting in defining and updating production routings, including operations, work centers, and standard times.
  • Working closely with Design, Planning, Production, and Quality to gather and validate technical information.
  • Learning to manage technical data within the company’s ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Contributing to improvements in coding and data-structuring processes by identifying anomalies and suggesting simplifications.
  • Supporting daily data governance activities and helping maintain clear process documentation.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Management Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Alternatively, a technical diploma combined with experience in a manufacturing context.


Experience

  • No significant work experience required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical, industrial, or production data management environment is a plus.
  •  Internships or traineeships involving ERP systems or manufacturing companies are considered an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of Bills of Materials and production cycles.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and material lists.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and digital tools.
  • Interest in working with ERP systems and technical data.

Soft Skills

  • Good command of English.
  • Accuracy, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to asking questions and suggesting improvements.

Nice to Have

  • Interest in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement topics.
