We design for impact

At Multi-Wing, sustainability isn’t an afterthought — it’s part of how we engineer every product. Our fan systems are built for energy efficiency, long-term use, and easy repair. We choose high-performance, durable materials, and wherever possible, we prioritize recycled content — including aluminum alloys made from up to 92% recycled material. By focusing on modular design, we extend product life and reduce waste across industries like HVAC, agriculture, and cooling systems.

We cut emissions across the chain

Our emissions targets align with the 1.5°C climate goal and are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. We invest in renewable electricity, which now powers over half our global operations. We're also producing solar energy at our own facilities. But we don’t stop at our own footprint — most emissions happen when our products are in use, so we continually improve efficiency to help our customers reduce theirs, too.

We take care of people

Our people make everything possible. That’s why we prioritize health and safety, promote inclusive working conditions, and make sure every employee has a voice. Injury rates are low and improving, and fair pay is a given across every region we operate in. We support human rights and ethical business at every level of our supply chain — from onboarding responsible suppliers to ensuring transparency through whistleblower protections and audit processes.

Around since 1938

Multi-Wing was founded by Finn Sigurd Andersen in 1938, trading hand tools and oil filters with small Danish business customers. Today, Multi-Wing serve the most demanding customers all over the world. Whether in HVAC/R or construction, material handling or agricultural machinery, we meet our customers' complex air-moving requirements by designing and creating some of the world’s finest fans and impellers.

Modular impellers since 1958

The move into axial impellers happened almost by chance. In 1958, Finn Sigurd Andersen bought the innovative Citroën DS19 car. The first time he drove it to the office, it attracted a great deal of attention, especially the engine with its plastic engine cooling fan. Finn’s cousin, Harald, got intrigued by the concept of making fans out of thermoplastic. Inspiration was born and Finn came up with the idea of producing impellers from individual components – the start of the modular axial impellers.

In better shape than ever

Innovation is as paramount as ever, making Multi-Wing the global leader in custom axial impellers. From our base of offering the world's widest range of axial impellers, we are now a global supplier of innovative axial fans. In 2021, Altor Equity Partners joined as our investment partner, further fueling our growth and enabling the acquisition and full integration of Fabrika Special Motors and VIP Air Empowerment.
