To comply with ErP 2026, axial fans must now be tested and declared as complete fans, not just based on impeller data.
Previously, compliance could be demonstrated using impeller data from Multi-Wing’s Optimiser and calculating the N-grade via the “non-final assembly method.” Under ErP 2026, this is no longer sufficient. The regulation requires that the complete fan unit is tested, including all significant elements as defined in EN 17166, and that performance is declared at the Best Efficiency Point (BEP).
Therefore, we have developed a new tool called FANBASE. With FANBASE and our test-based data, you can see axial fans that meet ErP 2026 requirements and document compliance efficiently.
