Engineering Data Scientist

Multi-Wing has a rich history in modular impeller development and is extending this to complete fan systems while rapidly growing the entire business. Efficient processes and tools are at the heart of making the lean customer-centric engineering organization that is needed to support this expansion in breadth and volume of work. As part of the Engineering Excellence team, this role will support the company’s development by expanding the use of data-driven simulation and prediction tools based on AI/ML/DL.

• Develop, validate, and deploy data-driven simulation tools to support product design and validation in industrial ventilation and cooling
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand product requirements and translate them into data models and simulation workflows
• Collect, preprocess, and manage large engineering datasets (3D geometries, test data, CFD/FEM simulation results)
• Integrate AI/ML models with existing simulation and design environments
• Support knowledge building in the organization by training engineers on the use of AI-driven tools
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI/ML for engineering applications and propose innovative methods

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or an Engineering discipline
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with data processing and management in a similar role
• Knowledge of state-of-the art AI/ML/DL frameworks
• General understanding of physics (e.g. mechanics, fluid dynamics, acoustics) in a machinery context
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and product teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, structured thinking, and ability to translate complex technical results into practical engineering insights
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
