Production Scheduler

We are expanding our Production Team in Italy and are looking for a Production Scheduler to coordinate short-term production execution. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with production, planning, and logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly on the shop floor - ideal for a structured and proactive individual who thrives in dynamic environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Translating production plans into detailed daily and weekly schedules in Dynamics 365 (D365)
2. Assigning work orders to specific lines, machines, or work centers based on available capacity
3. Monitoring production execution and adjusting schedules in real-time as issues arise
4. Optimizing sequencing to reduce changeovers and maximize throughput
5. Collaborating with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams to ensure resource availability
6. Flagging delays or bottlenecks and working cross-functionally to solve them quickly
7. Ensuring accurate data recording in D365 and supporting production reporting

What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for someone methodical, responsive, and team-oriented - someone who can keep production on track while adapting to daily challenges and changes.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, ideally in a manufacturing environment
2. Familiarity with ERP/MES systems; D365 experience is a strong plus
3. Excellent organizational and communication skills
4. Ability to multitask and adapt to short-term changes in priorities
5. Fluent in Italian – written and spoken, English as a plus

Nice to Have:

1. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or short-interval control
2. Experience in low-volume, high-mix environments
