About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Intern (or Junior Specialist) to join our dynamic purchasing team. This role is key in ensuring supplier reliability and delivery accuracy, by actively following up on open purchase orders and keeping our ERP system up to date.If you enjoy working with suppliers, being detail-oriented, and learning about how global manufacturing and supply chains work, this role is a perfect entry point into the procurement world.

What You’ll Do:

1. Monitor and follow up on open purchase orders with suppliers
2. Communicate proactively to confirm or expedite deliveries
3. Update delivery dates and order statuses in the ERP system
4. Support the purchasing team with daily administrative tasks
5. Escalate risks or delays to the relevant stakeholders
6. Collaborate with other departments (logistics, production, customer service) to align priorities

What We’re Looking For:

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or similar
2. Strong communication skills in English and Italian languages (written and spoken)
3. Structured and reliable work approach
4. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
5. Experience with ERP systems is a plus - especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
6. A team player eager to learn and take initiative
