Job Summary:

The Global Demand Planner will be responsible for managing and improving our demand planning processes to ensure optimal product availability and efficient inventory levels across global markets. You’ll collaborate closely with teams from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align forecasts with business goals and drive data-driven decision-making as we scale.This is an exciting opportunity to shape and build a brand-new function in a global company!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate global demand forecasts at various levels (SKU, region, channel) using statistical models and business intelligence.

• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to integrate market intelligence, promotional activities, and new product launches into the forecast.

• Lead monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, contributing to supply planning decisions.

• Track forecast accuracy and key KPIs (e.g., forecast error, inventory turnover), implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

• Partner with the Supply Chain team to balance demand and supply, minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.

• Analyze data to identify growth trends, risks, and opportunities across regions and product lines.

• Contribute to system enhancements (Dynamics 365) to improve forecasting and planning capabilities.

• Provide regular reports to senior leadership on demand trends and forecast assumptions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

• Expertise in forecasting tools (SAP IBP, NetSuite, Anaplan, o9, or Excel-based models).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working in global markets and with cross-functional teams across time zones.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from the ground up.
