We are looking to hire a Sales Engineer to join our team in Indonesia. We would like to have a colleague near or in Surabaya

Unfortunately, we don´t provide relocation packages or visa process support. We need someone already located there to support this location and timezone.

In this role, you will

  • Identify and develop new market segments
  • Develop a market penetration strategy in the region near Surabaya
  • Conduct direct marketing activities (such as cold calling) and attend industrial networking events
  • Generate new customers - screening and identification of customers and their key decision-makers
  • Conduct regular customer visits and perform presentations
  • Monitor pipeline of potential customers, identify entrance barriers and continuously update on customer-specific action plan
  • Implement and drive business planning cycle for other key customers
  • Define customer demands and secure alignment with a value proposition
  • Bring competitive insight on each market segment in the region
  • Ensure that sales targets are met according to a planned budget
  • Perform ad-hoc activities/ projects assigned by the management

What you need to excel

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Relevant experience in sales of technical or engineering products
  • Prior exposure and knowledge of the HVAC & Engine cooling industry will be an added advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
  • Good command of English
  • Highly motivated, determined, results-oriented
  • Possess valid driving license & own a car or motorcycle is a must

The job will be located in Surabaya or close. We don´t have offices there.
