Financial Controller, Northern Europe

Multi-Wing is looking for a Financial Controller, Northern Europe to join our Finance team in Prague and support our European entities (CZ, UK, FR, DE). This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data and reporting, and experience in controlling who wants to grow in an international environment.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and local stakeholders on monthly performance reviews, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting and financial analyses, using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Driving financial reporting and month-end close by preparing monthly management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPI overviews), supporting data checks, variance analysis and accruals, and consolidating outputs into clear presentations for monthly reviews.
• Leading controlling and FP&A activities by supporting budgets and forecasts, performing variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast vs. prior year), preparing ad hoc analyses (profitability, cost development, pricing, projects) and building investment business cases with the Plant Manager.
• Developing Power BI reporting and managing data by maintaining and improving dashboards, ensuring data quality and consistency, and turning reporting outputs into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Supporting ERP / Dynamics 365 processes by extracting, validating and reconciling financial data, driving standardization, simplification and automation in finance modules, and acting as a key user for reporting topics.
• Collaborating across functions and countries by working closely with local finance teams (accounting, AP/AR, controllers, IT), preparing materials for management meetings and business reviews, and providing analytical support to Sales, Operations and Supply Chain.
   

Education & experience

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar.
• Approx. 2–5 years of experience in finance, controlling, audit or accounting.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP system is an advantage.
   

Skills

• Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas;
• Power Query / Power Pivot is a plus).
• Ability to work with large data sets, perform reconciliations and ensure data consistency.
• Good understanding of financial statements and key financial KPIs.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2–C1) and Czech/Slovak (native).
