Through high-quality materials, we provide you with the best impeller. This is part of our commitment to being at the leading edge of impeller technology.

Multi-Wing blades are available in six different materials as listed below. PPG, PAG, PAGI, PAGAS, PAGST and AL. The materials suit applications with different working conditions, speeds and temperatures. Multi-Wing hub parts are as standard manufactured in a pressure die cast silumin alloy (Al Si12 Cu). Certain hub parts, Z-hub/5, H-hub/6, H-hub/8 and W-hub/3, are also available in glass reinforced polypropylene (PPG). NOTE: The values for the mechanical properties are mean values and can be subject to variations due to the use of different suppliers.

Glass reinforced polypropylene
(PPG)

Temperature range: -22ºF to +194ºF (-30ºC to 90ºC)
Please observe for temperatures above 104ºF

Tensile strength: 85 Mpa
Izod impact strength notched (at 73ºF): 10.0 kJ/m²
Izod impact strength notched (at 32ºF): 8.5 kJ/m²
Izod impact strength notched (at -40ºF): 7.0 kJ/m²
Flexural modulus: 6.0 Gpa

Glass reinforced polyamide
(PAG - NYLON)

Temperature range: -76ºF to +248ºF (-60ºC to 120ºC)
Please observe for temperatures above 104ºF

Tensile strength: 165 Mpa
Izod impact strength notched (at 73ºF): 11.0 kJ/m²

(PAGI)

Temperature range: -40ºF to +248ºF

Izod impact strength notched (at -22ºF): 6.0 kJ/m²

Electro anti-static glass reinforced polyamide (PAGAS - NYLON) for explosion proof working conditions

Temperature range: -40ºF to +248ºF (-40ºC to 120ºC)

Vibration stabilized glass reinforced polyamide
(PAGST – “super tuff” NYLON)

Temperature range: -40ºF to +248ºF

Tensile strength: 100 Mpa
Izod impact strength notched (at 73ºF): 14.0 kJ/m²
Izod impact strength notched (at -22ºF): 6.5 kJ/m²
Tensile modulus: 5.1 Gpa

Tensile strength: 66 Mpa
Izod impact strength notched (at 73ºF): 19.6 kJ/m²
Izod impact strength notched (at -22ºF): 7.4 kJ/m²
Tensile modulus: 3.4 Gpa

Aluminium, EN AC-ALl SI12CU1(FE) (AL)

Temperature range: -76ºF to +473ºF
High temperature tested at 482ºF for maximum 2 hours and at 572ºF for maximum 1 hour.
Please observe for temperatures above 302ºF

Tensile strength (Rm): 240 Mpa
Proof stress (Rp0,2): 140 Mpa
Brinell hardness: 70 HBS
