Over the last few months we have been following closely the extraordinary price
fluctuations on the metal market. In February we saw significant price increases compared to last year for the
aluminium alloy we’re using –AlSi12CU-.
We have been in a fortunate situation during the last decade to be able to lower the prices due to higher volumes,
more efficient moulding tools and a general price focus from subsuppliers. It is our intention to continue this
strategy, but in the present situation we have to react. We are foreseeing that the prices will stabilize at a
level lower compared to today, and have taken that into account in our calculation. The consequence is that we have
to increase the prices by 4,5% for orders confirmed after April 1, 2006.
At present the market has not stabilized and we are not in a position to guarantee any long-term price development.
We will follow the market and we might make new amendments depending on market fluctuations.
