Type 8W has now replaced type 8V. As there are no changes to the blade design, the performance for the 8W impeller is the same as for type 8V. The 8W impeller is with adjustable pitch and can be set in a wide range of different angles both for left and right hand rotation. There are three different hubs with the same outside diameter for 3, 4, or 5 blades. The diameter range for type 8W is from 630 mm to 1220 mm. Type 8W can be used for a wide range of applications but is especially suitable for air-cooled condensers. |
