Multi-Wing’s narrow-profile 7Z blade broadens low-noise sickle range

Multi-Wing has expanded its low-noise sickle range of fans with the new 7Z blade. The 7Z’s large blade surface produces the high static pressure necessary to help meet Tier 4 emissions standards in America and Stage III B limits for Mobile Nonroad Engines in Europe. With its shallow profile and low-noise, sickle design, the 7Z is tailor-made for off-highway heat exchangers, condensers, cooling towers and ventilation applications that often have demanding space restrictions.

The 7Z continues the success of Multi-Wing’s popular sickle series with a diameter range of 504-1029mm (20 to 40 inches). Using Multi-Wing’s heavy-duty Z hubs, the 7Z will be available in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 16-bladed configurations in glass-reinforced polypropylene and glass-reinforced polyamide. The narrow-profile 7Z delivers low-noise performance in tight spaces, and will be available to the global market on April 30, 2009.
