| Key Applications The tendency to demand larger sized impellers in the cooling industry is due to the fact that the industry is in need of larger cooling capacities. Additionally, they demand a lower pressure loss and a lower noise level. The new 10G impeller is therefore specifically aimed at larger cooling towers, air-cooled condensers and industrial heat exchangers. This impeller creates the platform for future developments of even larger sized cooling applications than we see today. High Performance The 10G impeller is designed to have a high performance and a low noise level combined with low power consumption. It is robust yet lightweight, resulting in less wear on motors and bearings. It has been extensively tested both with regards to performance as well as durability and all tests have shown positive results. The impeller is now approved for sale. Custom Built Solution The 10G impeller has cast aluminium hubs accommodating 5 fan blades available in glass-reinforced polyamide, which is extremely cost efficient. Soon, it will also be available with 6 and 8 fan blades. In addition, the unique, flexible pitch setting system allows the impeller range to be fully adjustable with 1° increment ranging from 15° to 50°. Finally, because Multi-Wing International a·s uses modular, interchangeable, standard components, it is possible to make exactly the impeller you need.
