<< back
In order to maintain our ISO certificate we have to change our existing ISO system to the new ISO standard.

The new standard is a process-based system starting with an input, some activities and resulting in an output.

The model of a process-based quality management system shown below illustrates the process linkages presented in the new standard (part 4 to 8).

In the new standard there will be special focus on the following subjects:

Customer satisfaction
  • The company is depending on the customers
  • Should understand existing and future customers' needs
  • Should meet customers' demands
  • Try to surpass the customers' expectations
Continuous improvements
  • Continuous improvements of the organizations' total performance should be a permanent goal for the organization.
Leadership
  • Leaders should establish agreement concerning purpose and direction for the organization.

Should be able to create and maintain an environment where the employees are fully involved in achieving the goals of the organization.

The new standard should be implemented before the end of 2001 where F.S. Andersen's certificate is reviewed by Lloyd’s register.
