Multi-Wing Group ApS (“MW”) takes privacy seriously. We value the trust that you place in us by providing us your personal information. We will always use your personal information in a way that is fair and worthy of that trust.
We shall always be transparent with you about what information we collect, what we do with it, with whom we share it and who you should contact if you have any concerns.
You can use the Multi-Wing Optimiser (“OPTIMISER”) without disclosing your identity. Details of the information that we gather as standard when you access the download website and use OPTIMISER are described below. If you register for a user account, we ask for your name, email and company name. These data will only ever be used within MW to improve our services for our customers and never sold.
MW, as controller of personal data, is responsible for the processing of personal data that relate to you under applicable data protection laws and regulations.

What categories of personal data will MW process, for which purpose and based on what legal basis?
When you download and use OPTIMISER you and OPTIMISER will access a MW webserver. Your web browser is technically configured to automatically transmit the following data ("log data") to our web server, which we then capture in log files:
- Date of access
- Time of access
- File retrieved
- Data volume transmitted
- Operating system
- IP address
Besides this we collect the name, email address and company name and address that you type in the user settings and when printing we collect the impeller code, user environment parameters and requested working point for that selection.
The log data is analysed purely for statistical purposes to improve our services. MW will process your personal data based on the legal basis of legitimate interest. MW’s legitimate interests include the interest to manage its software services according to fair business practices and to maintain availability and functionality of the software services.
Forwarding of data to third parties
MW may, if necessary to fulfil the purpose for processing the personal data, or if required by law or regulation share your personal data with other MW Group companies, including companies outside of the European Union or the European Economic Area EU/EEA. MW may also, if necessary to fulfil the purpose for processing the personal data, share your personal data with third party companies and suppliers including companies and suppliers outside the EU/EEA.
We work with several different service providers to deliver the MW services. MW will secure that appropriate safeguards are in place which provide adequate levels of protection of your personal data as required by applicable data protection laws.

Optimiser may contain links to other websites. We have no influence on the compliance or non-compliance of the operators of these sites with the data protection provisions.

MW offers several software applications as services to our customers. These are all to some extent web based hence the same information will be gathered and processed according to what is described in this document.
For how long will MW keep your personal data?
MW will keep your personal data as long as required to fulfil the purposes for which the personal data was collected.
Your data protection rights
You have the right to request from MW information about the personal data processed about MW and access to such personal data. You also have a right to request rectification of your personal data if this is incorrect and request erasure of your personal data. Further, you have a right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data meaning that you request MW to limit its processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. There is also a right for you to object to the processing based on legitimate interest or processing for direct marketing. You have as well the right to data portability (transfer of your personal data to another controller) if MW’s processing if your personal data is based on consent or contractual obligation and is automated.
You also have the right to lodge any complaints you may have regarding MW’s processing of your personal data to a supervisory authority.
