Building partnerships through dialogue and cooperation
Through dialogue and cooperation, we endeavour to strengthen our role as a trusted partner and
create strong customer relations. We aim to establish a good two-way communication with our
customers in order to accurately identify their needs and to ensure that we correctly interpret
the information given to us.
As Area Sales Manager, Ole Sørensen has daily contact with technicians and purchasers from the
Scandinavian market. “Dialogue is the essence of my daily work. I exert great effort to make
sure that the customer feels heard and understood, and guide them in their choice of impellers.
In addition, I advise the customer on the different methods of installing and mounting
impellers,” says Ole.
Dialogue is indispensable when completing an assignment optimally. Communication transpires by
phone, email and/or site visits, where direct and reciprocal communication takes place.
“I travel regularly around Scandinavia and get to know the different people I collaborate with.
I meet with the technicians and purchasers of different companies, offering them assistance in
the form of 3D-drawings and technical advice, including delivery of test impellers. We also
discuss new projects and practical solutions about certain aspects of the product, order processing,
delivery, and so on,” continues Ole.
A typical agenda for discussion during a site visit would be:
- Delivery statistics
- List of the customer’s purchased products
- Latest update on Multi-Wing International
- Test impellers, drawings and advice
- Demonstration on the use of the Optimiser
- Presentation of the Multi-Wing product range as
shown on the website and explanation of the
different impeller types.
- Feedback on customer satisfaction survey
Ole started working for Multi-Wing International in 2003 and through his work has developed a wide
knowledge of products and applications. He is trained as a machine technician and before joining
Multi-Wing had different positions that involved various aspects of production such as protection,
quality control and customer contact.
